Here's my issue with Lester - he does well in the big games (usually, like vs Bama) and stumbles, fumbles, farts and falls in the games just under the "big" game category (some might consider the lizards a "big" game now, too). He will have his team ready to go lights out against Bama, and survives A&M and the barn (barely). Looks like the Fighting Dabo's took his measure last night, and they really shouldn't have been able to.
The guy is just not, IMO, a "great" coach week in and week out, and really flounders during games. But you can bet your bottom dollar he will have his who's so ready to play Bama they will make it their best game of the year, win or lose. If the who PTB can tolerate that, he has a long tenure in whoville, because they HAVE to have someone who can either beat Bama or have every game decided in the last 1 or 2 minutes. Nothing else will do, not even if the Bama loss every year is their only loss. Barn-ish, yes. But it is what it is, IMO.
