Now we need to 'Take care of Business' and give Auburn what they deserve, then we need to beat Ga. Both are doable... THEN... Play ND for the BCS Championship.
Assuming ND beats USCw... Possibly w/o their starting QB.
That would be a dream match up to me.

I feel so fortunate tonight. It could not have worked out better if it were scripted.

The question to me becomes, when do we pull up against AU when we get up on them, to avoid injury to key players?

This will be huge motivation against the Barn! Kind of like last year...we played lights out on offense.

This is how it is going to play out.

Bama wins out.
Florida loses @ Florida State
Notre Dame loses @ USC

BAMA vs LSU in National Championship game. HAHAHAHA!

(If Notre Dame loses @ USC....two SEC teams play in the big one)

We have a losing record against Notre dumb. I'm 21 years young, so Notre dame doesn't really have any impact on me because they've been irrelevant for the majority of my life. Someone please tell us a little of the history between the two programs?

Re: And once again, we control our destiny! (thank you Baylor and Stanford)

I bet not many people can say that they were present at the game last week and this week to watch the #1 team in the nation fall. My husband and I made the trek from Waco to Tuscaloosa last week only to watch our beloved Tide fall to Baylor's old rival, the Aggies. On that long drive back to Texas last Sunday, I commented to my husband that it would be great if our Baylor Bears could help the Bama cause and beat KState this weekend, never thinking it might actually happen! You know, Baylor has gotten a lot of flack on this board (probably deservedly so) for their lack of defense, but they sure have helped the Bama cause these past two years beating OU last year too! Roll Tide and Sic 'em Bears!
Interesting that Baylor's Defense has been almost non-existent this year, but when they really needed it, and we really needed it... The Bears Defense played tall. :)
Then Stanford took out Oregon in OT...
Suddenly we've backed into position to possibly have another run at a BCS Title. WOW.

I think you're absolutely right. Frankly, the college football world would love an Alabama/Notre Dame game. I know I'd love to win #15 against the hated Fighting Irish. Maybe I could finally get over the 1973 Sugar Bowl.

Does anyone know if Oregon is still in the conference championship game? If so, who do they play? Without that, they might not be able to stay in front of UF if ND loses.
