I haven't started reading it yet but I ordered and have received "Voices of the Pacific", by Adam Makos.
It's untold stories from Marine heroes of World War II. It follows 15 Maines from the Pearl Harbor attack through battles with the Japanese in the Pacific.

Under the Dome - Stephen King.
King is good at developing his characters but usually his books have weak endings. Under the dome was his weakest ending ever IMO.

I agree, RE. The story was entertaining and the concept was interesting, but the ending was weak.
