IIt's not like they are taking the easy route and just recruiting close to home and not traveling to different places. I would think the coaches have a good network in the southeast.
It doesn't hurt to look beyond the Southeast, though. Consider the 1997 squad, which was one of the greatest college baseball teams ever assembled. You had a productive mix of in-state talent with standouts from all over the country.
