Georgia will spend $108,039 more annually to pay its reconfigured football strength and conditioning staff.
The five-person staff will receive salaries totaling $440,000, including $140,000 to former Penn State strength director John Thomas and $85,000 for speed coach Sherman Armstrong, according to information obtained under an open records request.
Thomas’ title is senior associate director of strength and conditioning. Armstrong is the associate strength and conditioning coach.
