The South Carolina women's basketball team's season came to a close early Sunday morning in a 76-60 loss to #2 Stanford in Fresno, California. The Gamecocks trimmed the lead to five points with seven minutes to play, but a 9-0 Stanford run put the game away for good. South Carolina ends the special 2011-12 season with a 25-10 record.
