Grilled Pizza

I have to admit I was a little skeptical, but this turned out amazing. Made a basic pizza dough from scratch, threw it on a scalding hot grill. I made sure to have a lot of olive oil on the dough so it would not stick. About 5 minutes in I took it off and flipped it onto a cookie sheet, loaded it with pepperoni, mozzarella cheese, a little sauce, and conecuh sausage. Placed it back on the grill and shut the lid. About 5 minutes later I decided I probably dont want Pizza hut anymore. (FYI, for sauce I just took a can of fire roasted tomatoes and pulsed them in a food processor a little bit. Had a great smoky flavor. Sauce/topping possiblities are endless and this was simple. :)

For those that have never tried these on a grill, never put a cold pizza stone on a hot grill they will break apart. Love the smokey taste from the grill.
