The Raleigh News and Observer has obtained records that show a summer class without instruction enrolled exclusively with football players.
Under the 'repeat violator' rule, yep, but won't happen. Will have to be Miami-like or worse for that to be seriously considered.I wonder if they are eligble for the "Death Penalty"? It's got to be bad anyway..
Far more likely than the death penalty, but even that's doubtful, unless the investigation uncovers a pattern of behavior - which wouldn't be shocking...Bout to get ugly in Chapel Hill..Will they(or could they) lose their accreditation over this..
I would be shocked if they didn't uncover a pattern of academic cheating(especially in the BBall Program)..We're dealing with the ncaa though..All bets are off no matter what evidence are brought forward..The ncaa doesn't play by or enforce it's own rule book..When it comes to certain schools..Far more likely than the death penalty, but even that's doubtful, unless the investigation uncovers a pattern of behavior - which wouldn't be shocking...
They would fit right in over in east central Alabama.(Sociology U.)Anyone still want North Carolina in the SEC?
Easy. Get on the high-horse and proclaim critics "racist" for calling an 'african-american studies' course suspicious. Demand an apology. Call Al and Jesse.Man, that's some blatant stupidity right there! How could they possibly spin this to try and get out of it?
Yup, they did it with Tenn and LSU also.I suspect that it will go the way of the barn directed reading sociology classes. The NCAA will say they do not monitor studies.
I'm not so sure. The Barn skated because the joke courses were open to all students. It's pretty clear that these classes were set up exclusively for athletes.I suspect that it will go the way of the barn directed reading sociology classes. The NCAA will say they do not monitor studies.
