Right now we need to win this one, get it over with so I can start worrying about Johnny Football and his band of Aggies!
Yup. That's the one I'm more concerned about also. Very underrated team with a really good offense and qb who's difficult to contain. I think LSU will be hard-pressed to score more than 13 against our D (their O is one-dimensional and we have their number), but A&M is much more dynamic.

:biggrin:BAMA 27 – Lswho 0 :mad2:

I just do not see a corndog offense all of sudden becoming consistent against any good defense much less against the best defense in the nation and still can't get to the fifty.

There is only one area that LSwho may have an advantage and that is special teams and I would love to see us bring as much pressure as we can on every one of their punt.

Those Corndog Pass Rushers will not like our big mobile Offensive Linemen and newly unleashed Tight-End Sets on third downs. :BigA: Roll Tide Roll!

So we are the best red zone offense and they have one of the worst red zone defenses. I like it. :)

Bama makes a statement to the rest of the nation:

Bama - 52
LSU - 3

This is the one game that Saban doesn't let off the gas.

Well, until the Auburn game - remember 28-27 - Saban does too. I truly believe in this years Iron Bowl we could set a record for most points against Auburn. I think we easily top the 70 barrier, especially since we know that when the auburn players get an opportunity to quit on their coach, they do it.

I love statistics and these are certainly interesting and telling ones to say the least. For this game however I think you can throw current stats out the window.
LSU has every conceivable advantage when it comes to intangibles and emotion in this game.
Their season basically comes down to this game.
They have the revenge factor.
They have Baton Rouge on a Saturday night.
This is their SEC Championship Game do or die.
This is their National Title Game do or die.

Throw in the fact that they match up with us physically and you got yourself a tough ball game for Bama.

It's going to be very difficult for us to win this game. We will NOT over power them--Forget it. They will be hitting just as hard in the fourth quarter as they will be on the first play. They will blitz and rush AJ like crazy and do everything in their power to take him out--COUNT on it.

It ultimately will come down to which team makes the least number of mistakes and the least number of turnovers. Again, throw all the other stuff out the window. It will be a four quarter game.

Final:
Bama 16
LSU 13

Jeremy Shelly kicks a field goal as time expires.

To me, this game will go one of two ways. Bama comes out, smacks them right in the mouth and gets a nice lead on them, demoralizes their crowd and cruises to victory. The second is that it becomes a field position, running the football, Gene Stallings type game to see which team crumbles first. If that is the case, this game will be a four quarter, possibly overtime game. I fully believe Bama is a better team than them but they have a lot of elements on their side. Crowd, night game, everyone rooting for them to win. We're going to find out what we're made out of. Either we're as good as I think we are or we are a pretender. Simple as that.
