Florida Derby winner Orb will be the tepid morning-line favorite for Saturday's 139th Kentucky Derby. And he's almost as close to unbeaten Verrazano in the starting gate as the two colts are in the odds.
When it comes to the field for Friday's Longines Kentucky Oaks at Churchill Downs, "depth" is the buzzword on the backside — no matter how one might go about saying it.
