Re: Did we skip the Rammer Jammer cheer after the game?

I love it, but I wish we would only do it when we actually do "beat the hell" out of someone.

Give it to whoever no matter what if we win. It's a reason for points on the board. One is to have more than the other. One wins the other loses. If you don't like it tough. Compared to what LSU plays its baby talk.

Some of you just need to think on a realistic level. Put this in fight terms... You can beat the "hell" out of someone while simultaneously taking a significant beating yourself. The major determinant, though, is who gets up at the end...that would be us.

Rammer Jammer is always appropriate after a victory...

This win is probably more painful to LSU than any beatdown.

I've heard many LSU fans claim their 9-6 victory was a beatdown, so fair is fair.

True. Joe Farzier couldn't answer the bell for the 15th round in Manilla. But Dundee was about to throw in the towel himself in Ali's corner. A few seconds made all the difference in boxing history. Both men gave and received a tremendous beating.

They played it. And rather quickly after the game ended. I usually don't agree with playing it in a close game, but LSU fans booed the MDB band's halftime show.

Big A was the "rammer jammer played?

I didn't hear it, but then again there was such a bedlam when and after TJ crossed the goal line!

Well, I don't think we "beat the he11 out of 'em" but we may have taught that Tiger to behave!
