    Sports on Earth: On Alabama: red and white, blood and bone.

    I'd post this one, even if I didn't know the writer (who's a good friend) because it captures so much of what's iconic about our team and its fans.

    By the way, Tommy Tomlinson is an Georgia grad, but he's done good. Enjoy

    The writer grew up in Georgia per his bio. I really liked his perspective on Coach Bryant's contribution to Alabama Football and the state
