Too funny
Pornstache: "This morning a bounty hunter delivered Saban to us encased in Carbonite. He is safe and sound and FOR GOD'S SAKES would someone find a couple of jawa for Jabba over here. He's obviously becoming hypoglycemic and he's beginning to look around in the audience for a snack."
Really? :conf2: :conf3:Bingo. First of all, I think we win big. But I expect the barn to pull out every trick play that is within the rules, just hoping for a lucky strike here and there. Les Miles will be watching and taking notes. Barn might not even bring a punter to the game...what would be the point? 2009 all over again for them, except they don't get home cooking this time.
I think Bo was outside the room screaming "I am the Bagman".The look on Phillip Marshall's face is absolutely hilarious..This look is pretty much common place with Barners this season..I can't quit laughing at Marshall..LOL
That's also the year that there was a very convenient accident on the interstate that delayed bama getting to the stadium by a couple of hours the morning of the gameNot sure why you think this situation is similar to 2009. The 2009 Auburn team had talent, was at home and coming off a bye week. Alabama did not have a bye week before that game and it was a short week with the game played on a Friday. This team isn't nearly as good as 2009, we basically have a bye week with WCU coming up, it's a home game for Alabama and we will come in focused knowing we have to win to get to Atlanta. The sting of two years ago is still there too. If you think we are overlooking Auburn, you're sadly and sorely mistaken. Alabama can and will beat the ever loving crap out of them.
I think too much is made of that LSU game. LSU uncharacteristically was loose with the football on offense. They may not be explosive but they haven't been prone to putting it on the grass this season. Also, I think that was simply a growing pains moment for their offense. They were trying to figure out what they could actually execute given some of their injuries. Since the Auburn and Florida games, they kind of figured out that they couldn't be wide open with the number of guys in patterns and they adjusted. That might have been Auburn's best effort but it's apparent after that game they haven't conjured up anything close to the needed intensity to win a game. It deflated them greatly that they had a quality team playing poorly enough for them to win and they couldn't even get anything together offensively to seal it.
