Is UCLA intentionally tanking their game against Stanford?

You can't help but wonder. UCLA is looking ugly. If they had won against Stanford tonight, they would have had to face Oregon in the Pac 12 Championship. But now they will have to play Stanford instead...an easier task.

But the good thing is that this really helps Florida's BCS hopes (if Notre Dame loses tonight). If Oregon won the Pac 12 championship game, they might have passed and idle Florida team.

Stanford's D made Oregon's O look anemic as well. I doubt Oregon was tanking their game.

No. You play the game to win it.

The psyche of a football team is delicate. Jim Mora, Jr is a good coach and he's not going to ask his team to lay down.

UCLA will make adjustments and play better next week.

It's more than that, it's utterly ridiculous.

"A long way," he said after being asked how far the Crimson Tide had come since Coach Nick Saban arrived three years ago. "I guess you could say it's the distance from Shreveport to Pasadena."
