What are some new wrinkles we may see in the SECCG? (from either side)

Just wondering everyones thoughts. Pretend we are all sitting around a large campfire and sharing ideas of what we might see.

How about some wildcat with AJ on the field with Sims @ QB...is he going to run or throw?

I'm expecting UGA to pull out a few gadget plays. They know they're outmatched on the lines.

I see both teams running no huddle on an occasion throughout the game. Especially after a big play while their defense is on their heels a bit.

IF we were going to see that it would have been against the Barn after we had a lead. Don't think it will happen in a game of this magnitude.

Yeah, I would expect that. But one can hope.

Jesse Williams catches a pass for a touchdown.
Or McCarron catches a pass for a TD from Sims

It's lile to see Michael Williams get the ball on a reverse near the goal line. I would like to see whom will tackle him when he is going full speed.

Haha, or at least fake the catch like Barrett Jones did last year. Too funny.

Re: What are some new wrinkles we may see in the SECCG? (from either side)

Georgia seems like they are going to be pumped up and probably be a little on the reckless side like the Florida game. That means they are going to be biting at the chomp to get hits on defense. We need to try a little screen fake where we hit them over the top. In fact, this may be where Chris Black gets his opportunity if executed because Kenny Bell would probably be the faking blocker when Cooper bubbles underneath for his screen (Cooper has been our favorite WR for screen passes this season).

I feel like any aggressive defense has to be baited into their desire to hit you...their safety is going to want to light up Cooper, so give them an opportunity to do so but burn them.

I don't feel like Georgia is a team to bring a lot of wrinkles into the gameplan offensively each week but I think the magnitude of the game will probably make the staff try some things. I'd expect some sprint out passes from the shotgun to nullify pressure looks from our defense. Perhaps a throwback screen off a sprint out to the backside TE. Also, you always have to be aware of the hobnail boot play when playing the two-back pro-set of Richt. They'll lull you asleep with the FB engaging a LB then they'll dial up the play fake where he just runs right past the ILB looking to engage the FB.
