Six conference championship games highlight the Week 14 slate, most notably the Georgia vs. Alabama clash in the SEC. There will also BCS bids on the line in the Big Ten (Nebraska vs. Wisconsin), ACC (Florida State vs. Georgia Tech) and Pac-12 (UCLA at Stanford), and possibly even in the MAC, where the winner of the Kent State vs. Northern Illinois battle could possibly end up in the Orange Bowl.

Like I said earlier, the don't all predict Bama winning...but CFN will be the first to laud Bama lavishly, when we win!

Alabama (11-1) at Georgia (11-1) Dec. 1, 4:00, CBS

Here’s The Deal … Notre Dame is a phenomenal story. The Irish came from out of nowhere to fight through a tough schedule and a slew of close, dramatic battles to become No. 1 in the BCS rankings. With a hard-nosed defense and physical offense that doesn’t screw up, the team has the right make-up and the ability to beat anyone in America and handle any style. But let’s get real. The 2012 national championship will be decided in Atlanta on Saturday night. After winning six straight BCS championships, the SEC has earned several benefits of the doubt, with the winner of the conference title game to be the projected favorite over the Irish by more than a touchdown. Alabama overcame a rocky two-game stretch against LSU and Texas A&M to win the West and get up to No. 2 in the BCS rankings, and now the chance is there for a second straight national title and a third in four years under Nick Saban.

Here at MrSEC.com, we like to provide you with different stats, numbers and figures throughout the football season. Typically, we try to present them in ways that you might not find elsewhere. Over the course of five years of doing this, we’ve stumbled across a few that tend to serve as pretty good indicators of on-field success. For those of you who’ve read this site, you’re familiar with our five-season, 245-game study into the impact of turnovers on SEC football games. Obviously, the more a team turns the ball over, the less chance it will have of winning. The same applies for teams who force turnovers from their foes, obviously. But what was surprising to us was just how important turnovers are when a pair of SEC rivals get together:

Aaron Murray won’t make the trip to New York for the Heisman, and he won’t rack up many SEC post-season awards at quarterback, thanks in part to Johnny Manziel. But he does have a chance to cement his name in SEC and Georgia legacy with a championship on Saturday. After all, big time quarterbacks are measured by their championships, not merely by passing yards, completion percentage or touchdowns – something that has escaped him the last three seasons.

SEC bloggers Chris Low and Edward Aschoff will occasionally give their takes on a burning question facing the league. We'll both have strong opinions, but not necessarily the same view. We'll let you decide which blogger is right. Two of the best freshman running backs in college football will be on display Saturday in the SEC championship game when Alabama and Georgia square off at 4 p.m. ET in the Georgia Dome. Today's Take Two topic: Who would you take first -- the Bulldogs' Todd Gurley or the Crimson Tide's T.J. Yeldon?

Games in the SEC are often decided up the middle -- in the trenches, over the center and into the heart of it all. Saturday's matchup between No. 2 Alabama and No. 3 Georgia likely will be no different, as the Crimson Tide's offensive line, arguably the best in the country, battles with the Bulldogs defensive front that is equal parts size and skill.
