Re: Unable to come to SECCG because my dear wife broke her leg

My gal broke her collar bone a month ago and I been having to wash clothes and hang them out and getting them in and folding them up and putting them up and then it's time to cook or wash dishes or sweep and I'm thinking she's somewhat playing possum but she done it for me and the kids for 32 years so I guess I can make another week of it but I can see by looking in my buddies eyes they think I done got soft. She does sit and watch an Alabama football game with me so I'm satisfied.

Unable to come to SECCG because my dear wife broke her leg

You're a good man. I'd have amputated my wife's foot and drug her along with me. You can always grow another foot...no guarantees BAMA and uga will play in the SECCG again.

Huck I think this game is going to be quite a bit more special to you both in years to come.

Been married to a Bama Girl for 33 years, no way I would go without her.

    Enjoy the Win today, RTR!

You should have just tied her to the couch (for her safety) left a can of coke with a straw taped to her mouth and told her you had yard work to do and would be back in 4+hours. She would never know

Well, if she were a horse you would have shot her, same logic applies.

Thanks for sharing this. You have been a member for 8 years and I hope you post often. Sounds like you have a nice big screen to watch the game one. Turn up the volume, get some watered down coke and pretend your watching on the Jumbotron!

Heh, heh! I could have done that, but our old dog would have taken care of any pizza rolls within reach. I guess the dog could have stayed at the vet like we originally planned. Come to think of it, my wife might have been able to stay at the vet's office, too. They would've fed her and I'm sure provided a comfy pad or blanket to lay on. She can't walk on her own, so they wouldn't have had to worry about that. Biting might have become a problem, though.

I can't imagine being married to a barner. That would have been a deal-breaker really early on for me. She must be some special lady.

An Aggie wife? Are you sick of hearing about "Johnny Football" yet?

Gotta work? That really stinks. At least I know I'll be able to watch the game on TV. I hope you can do the same.
