Every championship game, except the SEC, has empty seats. Big 10, Pac-12, ACC. If I was a fan of a school, and could get decent priced tickets to possibly see my team play for a championship, I would be there. Maybe distance is a factor, I don't know.

It took me all of 5 days to find two tickets to the SECCG for $200.00 a piece. I spent only 15 mins on StubHub and found some to the ACCCG for $15.00.

Bowden didn't ruin football at FSU, the ACC did!

It's no different than their regular season games. FSU always has empty seats, unless it's vs Florida. Miami attendence was just hilarious this year! I don't see the ACC relevant on the national stage for many years to come!

Not true...thanks to Pac-12 having one of the two teams host, they get great attendance... ACC game being played in Charlotte? Never will sell out...

I bet Herbstreit is thrilled about getting this game.
Ya I'm sure he was "thrilled" lol. Herbstreit was ripping the PAC12 fans last night for not filling Stanfords stadium. Of the paltry 51,000 seats only 32,000 were filled for what was virtually an extra home game for Stanford!!! So I can only imagine what Herbie thought about the ACC fans....

Way to go ACC. Alabama High School Athletic Association playoff game tickets are $7.
I honestly think the attitude is that it is a no consequence game. I mean what are you really playing for. Yes you get a BCS bowl but no real shot at the title.
Take the top two teams from all major conferences and have playoffs. You dont see empty seats at NFL playoff games. Look at the Giants, they were an 8-8 team an won it all.....that is what the people want.

Not true, the Pac-12 championship game on Friday at Stanford was half full.

Who wants that? I dread the playoffs. Mainly because I know there is no way they will leave it at 4 teams and the stupid committee will end up leaving a more deserving team out due to bias.
