A mythical national championship (sometimes abbreviated MNC) is a colloquial term used to question the validity of national championship recognition that is not explicitly competitive. It is typically used by fans of teams who have never won a recognized National Championship of any kind.

Stand by -- I have a message into the NCAA Hall of Fame in Indianapolis for clarification--waiting for a reply. If they deny official Dynasty status then we can go after Florida State for false advertising to recruits.

Can someone recognize my dynasty on NCAA Football 2012 on xBox 360?

Once again, the CFB HoF is NOT run by the NCAA, but by the National Football Foundation.

    This thread's done.
