I really did feel sorry for Army's QB though. A four year starter (first time ever for West Point) and 0-4 against Navy.
I lean towards Navy. Not a big rah rah military guy but I always try to watch the game.
My dad was in the Army but my mother cheered for Navy because she liked their uniforms better.
I appreciate what these guys do but this game has never done much for me.
I never thought I'd say this about an Army team. But they were fundamentally unsound in this game, and it cost them the win.
They fumbled at least six times that I know of, and maybe more. The fact that they were even in the game speaks volumes for their heart. But the QB and RBs were carrying the ball loose, and often in the hand open to the field.
When they weren't busy dropping the ball, and paying the price for those mistakes, they actually outplayed Navy.
This one's on the Army coaches.
