You people that don't know what skyline chili is need to get out more.

Okay I guess. I didn't get it at first. Member posts/comments helped clarify. Defnitely not his best work.

You don't have to travel to Cincinnati to hear about skyline chili, nor do you have to watch the Food Network.

LSUFreek may have lost a little bit over time - it's hard to maintain greatness for so long. But, I think we've gotten spoiled when we are debating whether or not the reference to Cincinnati is well-known enough.
Part of Freek's brilliance is the presence of inside jokes - e.g., Finebaum in his Alabama jokes. The fact that not everyone gets the Skyline reference is why it is inside, thus why he is so good.

I have relatives in Ohio, so new what the Skyline chilli was right away.
But i probably wouldn't have known otherwise, they eat chili that looks like spaghetti up there.

Unfortunately, I think the only Sklyline Chili locations in the South are in Florida. We need a couple in Birmingham.

I used to go to Cinn on business back in the 80's and had Skyline Chilli for lunch and Montgomery Inn ribs for dinner on many occasions

Yes it is. Do not care for the cinnamon in the chili though. Tubby was never welcomed at all by TT fans. The wind blows so hard up there in the Panhandle that it makes everybody loony. Not that I care for him either. Or for TT.
