Stole this idea from another board, but interested to see our members' opinions.

Rank the top 10 wins of the CNS era:

My list:

1. 2009 SECCG: Changing of the guard
2. 2008 Auburn: 36-0, ending the streak
3. 2009 BCSNCG: The top of the mountain! First 14-0 team
4. 2009 Auburn: The drive defined that team
5. 2011 BCSNCG: Shut out of LSU (nuff said)
6. 2009 UT: We found a way (unlike years past)
7. 2008 Georgia: We're baaaaaack (black out = funeral)
8. 2008 LSU: OT win vs LSU, CNS' first over his former team.
9. 2008 Clemson: "They turned it around that fast?-- uh oh!"
10. 2012 SECCG: Pretty awesome game

to me these 2 are the best because of the big stage and all the media hype against the Tide and Bama showed up and showed out

7. 2008 Georgia: We're baaaaaack (black out = funeral)
9. 2008 Clemson: "They turned it around that fast?-- uh oh!"

I like the list but I can think of a couple more that should atleast be honorable mentions

2007 Tennessee and 2009 Va Tech

I'll give it a shot:

1. 2009 SECCG: Proved that we could win on a qualified big stage with big stakes for the first time.

2. 2012 BCSCG: The prognosticators were right, there was a team in New Orleans that didn't deserve to be in that game. They were just wrong about which team. We proved it by showing that 9-6 defeat was a fluke more than "championship will to win" by LSU.

3. 2010 BCSCG: The first title since 1992 in the stadium where Alabama established themselves as a power in the 1920s.

4. 2012 SECCG: This was probably the most exciting game I've attended.

5. 2009 Auburn: Dashed Auburn's hope to crash our title hopes with a clutch late 4th quarter drive.

6. 2012 LSU: AJ to TJ...out-LSU'd LSU in their own backyard (with better time management though).

7. 2008 Georgia: "They're wearing black because they're going to their [bleepity bleep] funeral!"

8. 2008 Clemson: Alabama announces their return to being a factor in the national discussion.

9. 2009 Tennessee: A guy who looks like he couldn't jump 3 inches off the ground gets his paws on two FG attempts and sealed the win.

10. 2009 Virginia Tech: 2008 wasn't a fluke and we're now a program that can overcome losing players to the draft.

i would want to throw 2007 vs arky in there too. that was when i first realized that saban would go big here. fighting for that win at the end was an awesome effort by the team.

and it also gave us this

gotta put "AJ to TJ" in top 10. watched it 4x and still can't believe we won and, obviously, without that win no SEC title and likely not even a BCS bid

1.Bama over Georgia 2008
2. Bama 21 LSU-0
3. Bama 37 Texas-21
4. Bama over Florida 2009
4. Bama over Georgia 2012
5. Bama over LSU 2012
7. Bama over AU 2009
8. Bama over UT 2009
9. Bama over LSU 2008
10. Bama over Michigan State 2010

I know my top pick may seem strange but we were coming off a 7-6 first season under Coach Saban and there were still some doubters about "the process".
We were undefeated and they were undefeated. They did the blackout and all the gimmick stuff and we were on the road as underdogs.
Few in the media thought we would win. We handed them their lunch.
That game erased any doubt in fans minds, the medias minds, our players minds, in anyones minds that the process was moving forward in a monumental way. We've virtually been unbeatable since. It was the turning point in Coach Saban's career at Alabama in my opinion.
That's why I voted it number one.
I voted the Michigan State win in the top ten because we came off possibly the most disappointing loss in our history and rebounded in a positive and championship way.
I think that win gave us fabulous momentum going into the next spring practice and fall season which ended up resulting in a national title. Had we floundered away that game history may have turned out differently. Therefore it was very big.
Every win is big but these are what I'd call "the most significant" in terms of the program under Coach Saban.
RTR!

1. Tennessee 2007 - Saban establishes dominance over the Vols (a key to Alabama's resurgence)

2. Clemson 2008 - Smashmouth Alabama football is back. The most talented freshman class in Alabama history makes its debut. Never will forget Ingram in this one.

3. Georgia 2008 - the Smack Out!

4. Tennessee 2009 - Cody's block has Bama looking like the team of destiny.

5. Auburn 2009 - "The Drive."

6. Florida 2009 - Saban establishes dominance over Florida and the SEC.

7. Texas 2009 - Awww. Poor Colt. And poor Texas for being so dependent on one player.

8. Michigan State 2010 - One of the most enjoyable routs I've ever watched. Saban even gets a little upset that we score so much.

9. LSU 2011 - Revenge is a dish best served in New Orleans. One of the most dominant defensive performances...ever.

10. Georgia 2012 - This SEC Championship is one of the best games I've ever seen.
