    Perhaps the signatur
e recruit of the Curtis Johnson era is in the fold for the Tulane football team.

Mt. San Antonio College quarterback Nick Montana, son of NFL legend Joe Montana, sent his signed letter of intent to Tulane on Wednesday afternoon, securing the Green Wave one of the best junior college quarterbacks in the nation. It's the first day junior college players can sign letters of intent.

Oh, Susanna. Oh, don't you cry for me, for I come from Alabama with a banjeaux on my knee. G'wan to Louisiana my true love for to see.

Wow -- sort of like Michael Jordan's kid playing at Central Florida --
Raj: Excuse me, I can't be drinking, I'm about to make an important scientific discovery here!
Howard:What? Galileo did his best work while drinking wine!
Raj: How do you know that?
Howard: He was Italian, it's a reasonable assumption.
Raj: Dude, can you even open your mouth without saying a cultural stereotype?
Howard: I'm sorry Galileo drank diet sprite!

I would have thought he would have been a shoo-in for Notre Dame...

i remember when another of his son's was being recruited by Bama. I was eating lunch at Bryant Dining Hall and all of a sudden Joe Montana comes in and gets in line to get lunch. It was surreal, I called everyone I knew that would care.

Isn't this the same son? He is signing out of juco. I seem to remember him signing somewhere and then leaving...

Nate played for the University of Montana (after transferring from Notre Dame), and Nicholas at the University of Washington, before heading to JUCO.

Nate was at Notre Dame but got in a bit of trouble. Nick, who started at Washington, is transferring to Tulane from a JuCo.
