Either way, it is going to be a good team. Just hope it transfers on the field. History says it will.
That is why I have him at dimeback next year. Clinton-Dix, Perry, Williams, and Collins will be the top line safeties while Sunseri is more of a role player who plays the LB/S hybrid in 6-backs.I think Vinnie has a unique skill set and will always be a big part of our defense but with better cover men coming on line I agree it's going to be hard for him to keep his snap count as high as it has been. I'd like to see them make better use of him in the pass rush.
Isn't Perry a senior? That is why I have him at dimeback next year. Clinton-Dix, Perry, Williams, and Collins will be the top line safeties while Sunseri is more of a role player who plays the LB/S hybrid in 6-backs.
Only problem I see (unless my count is off) is that there are 90 scholarship names on that list--------THOUGHTS??????
Don't know but he'll fit somewhere. He's been playing too well. It to fit. I wonder if they'll just move him inside on running and outside for passing.Where does DJ Pettway fit in next year? I saw that he has been practicing at LB.
Pettway is a monster. he will no doubt be a major part of our success in the near future. just think of a raging bullWhere does DJ Pettway fit in next year? I saw that he has been practicing at LB.
Watching him down in here in Pensacola he was destined to become a terror. Glad he winded up in Crimson!Pettway is a monster. he will no doubt be a major part of our success in the near future. just think of a raging bull
depends on what position he plays. I dont see any way he could break into the 2 deep at our DE position. if he comes in at the DT position i could see him getting playing time on pass downs much like how we used Gentry and Dareus inside. he's extremely quick and a TFL machineI know there's a lot of time between now and NSD, and the start of fall camp, but if Dee Liner flips to us like quite a few people think he will, does anyone think he can crack the 2-deep? Or maybe even work his way into the starting lineup?
I got 90 as well. Anyone have an explanation? Any likely transfers/lost schollies?Only problem I see (unless my count is off) is that there are 90 scholarship names on that list--------
Have a feeling Ely or Morris or McCleod will not be on the team next year. Del Rio is good; his commitment to Okie State shows that. I have no inside information, but I doubt Ely or McCleod stay (whether on scholarship or on the team) because of the talent around them.OFFENSE

Averett will get a RS because of the talent standing in front of him. HaHa and Collins will take the top 2 spots. Perry and Vinnie provide experience back-ups (the 2009 defense benefited from this). Eddie Williams should be ready to make a name for himself, too.S- HAHA CLINTON DIX

He lists Del Rio as one, but he is a walk-on. He won't count towards the 85 limit. CNS has said numerous times that not many know who all is on scholarship.Only problem I see (unless my count is off) is that there are 90 scholarship names on that list--------
Nothing we'll ever know for sure. Just count on Saban being able to count to 85.I got 90 as well. Anyone have an explanation? Any likely transfers/lost schollies?
