I have a feeling that a lot of people would think more highly of Danielson's work if he was paired up with Nessler or McDonough. I think Verne brings Danielson down a bit. Verne's strength is calling some of the holes on the back nine at The Masters...not football.
Here's a good combo: Musburger and Jesse Palmer.
"My momma always said you got to put the past behind you before you can move on." Forrest Gump
"The past is never dead. It's not even past." William Faulkner
"A life is like a garden. Perfect moments can be had, but never preserved except in memory LLAP" Leonard Nimoy
The crew I miss the most was Franklin and Gottfried back 10-15 years ago. To me they were the crew for Saturday night ESPN Primetime games.
Speaking of announcing, who gonna listen to Eli during the game?
Ya'll don't like it when Verne says "Touchdown Lou-EEEEEEE-zi-ana State Univeristy"?
College vs pros, but I always loved Mike Patrick as a play-by-play guy from his ESPN Sunday Night Football days.
Verne doesn't do his homework. If he does, he can't remember it.
Danielson thinks very highly of his own opinion, and he's quite informative. I've grown to like Danielson's analysis, but that's about all I like about Danielson-knowledge and breakdown.
