Re: Ryan Anderson & Dillon Lee Sent Home for Curfew Violation

Word Andrew Gribble right now is that the team's leadership council recommended to CNS that they be sent home. By bus.

Problem solved, and I'm not worried.

From staying at the Fountainbleau to riding home to Tuscaloosa in a Greyhound bus. Perfect punishment.

I think that's the tradition when you're sent home from a bowl. I've never heard of anyone being flown home yet. Seems it always a bus...

I like this tradition. Lets see - a bus ride from Miami to Tuscaloosa - 30+ hours? That's a lot of time to think (mostly about how much they are going to be running when Coach gets back home).

I'm sure they were given a bus ticket home. Whether they actually took the bus home is another matter.

These freshmen KIDS (and they are still kids) will be watching their teammates on TV just like we are. They are missing out on the experience and it is the best thing that could have happened. I had much rather know these young kids are losing focus and doing stupid stuff, than to think there are guys that have been around and should know better, that are staying out and partying or whatever. I'm willing to bet these two end up as the leaders by the time they are juniors or seniors. Hard lessons are the best lessons. If anything, this should prove to all of us that the rest of team IS ready to take care of business.

Different people handle punishment in all sorts of different ways. If these two are smart and want to be the best they can be, they will use it as a message to get their act together and make better decisions next time. Unfortunately, it doesn't always work out that way though...

I'm sure they are going to be very mad about having to make that long ride home. However, when they need to use the latrine, hopefully there will be a mirror so they can see who they should be mad at. They are missing a great opportunity to see a great game up close and personal instead of having to watch it like me. When you are told what to expect and you still screw up, that's not good.

Don't the freshmen need seniors/upperclassmen around them during the entire PROCESS saying don't do this and don't do that or you are going to blow it big time and have to pay for your mistakes. I sure hope nobody else has to ride a bus home!

However, if anybody else has to ride a bus home, they need to board that bus with no TV monitors oh about an hour before game time.

No offense to Anderson and Lee but they are, as of right now, what I call "chicken finger eaters". "Chicken finger eaters" don't get much leeway when it comes to shenanigans. You are here to support, not distract. You distract and I will ensure that you will not be here to distract any further.
