Well said.I agree somewhat. 3 BCSNC in 4 years is huge. Back to back is huge. Notre Dame is not.... the moment IS

That's what I want!NOW starts the biggest season/games in Alabama history. Winning out would be epic and unequaled by anybody in any era.
Heck, Bama's already the only team to ever win three unanimous titles in four years!NOW starts the biggest season/games in Alabama history. Winning out would be epic and unequaled by anybody in any era.
Unanimous? By George I think you've got it.Heck, Bama's already the only team to ever win three unanimous titles in four years!
Well, consensus - ND shares 1973 with Bama and Nebraska shares 1997 with Michigan.Unanimous? By George I think you've got it.
Oh yah, duh, dunno how I screwed that one up. Pre-1950, the NCAA doesn't recognize consensus champions and both Army ('46) and Michigan ('47) have legitimate claims to NCs.I thought it was ND in 46,47&49!
It was our biggest blowout.:biggrin2:Was it our biggest win?
I think Chukker had it right. The 1971 win against Southern Cal still seems like "the biggest" win in my memory. Close behind, NCG's vs PSU, Texas, & LSU.I don't know if it would be Bama's biggest win, but for me personally it would be the most satisfying.
Yeah it would have been bad. But as history shows that they only passed the 50 twice, coming and going. The BCS vs LSU is the biggest win. Consider the perception of our program had we lost to them twice in the same year. It would've meant 3 in a row and the LSU fans, my goodness.
Very well said, I totally agree. Especially that they shouldn't have even been on the field with us, much less the BCSCG. Plenty of teams were so much better than the golden domers last season.09 signaled Bama is back. 11 signaled our dominace. 12 signaled ND shouldn't have been on the field with us.
