Question: AJ's place on Alabama's Mount Rushmore of quarterbacks

None won as much as Barker( and at Alabama that's the standard) ...AJ still has a chance.
Last I checked, NC's were the standard. As starters Namath went 1 for 3, Stabler got jobbed and went 0-3, Gmac went 1 for 2, and AJ is 2 for 2. Barker was 1 for 4. not to mention that Barker would not have started over any of the others.

If AJs face isn't front and center on our Iron Mountain version of Mount Rushmore,
it's only because he ain't done yet.
AJ is already in the conversation with Namath, Stabler, and Todd.
That pretty lofty company for a college Junior.

(BTW: The 'Crazy Horse monument' is many times larger than Mt. Rushmore.)

I remember when he came to Alabama and was on the sideline....a skinny legged boy. I thought to myself...he just isn't big enough to play QB at Alabama. This is one case where I gladly admit I was wrong.
