10 years from now, who will be our best nfl player? (who's playing now)

I would have to go with Lacy and Julio and Hightower. Julio is already showing why and I feel like Eddie will go to a good team early in in the second round with an OL that can run block. I hope everyone does well, but sometimes you fall into a situation like Ingram. Hightower is already showing why he will be a great player, always has a nose for the ball and is always around to make a play when he's in the game. any thoughts?

Homer pick but Julio. If they can keep him and Matt Ryan around for a while he's going to have a shot at record books.

It will either be Julio or one of the guys who hasn't been drafted yet. Possibly Amari.

Trent, if he can stay healthy and extend his career (hard for a RB), but I fully expect Barron to be making an outstanding impact in whatever secondary he's playing in ten years from now. He's smart, fast, reasonably durable, and should be around a long time.

I modified the title, since, as framed, it's unanswerable. It might be someone who's drafted eight years from now...

All good answers. I would put Jesse Williams in that group.

T. J. Yeldon, he is a young beast and there's a lot of football to be played in 10 years. Playing now would be Julio Jones.

Interesting and relevant data: average NFL career lasts 5.33 years.
Positions that yield on average the longest careers if they make a Pro Bowl:
QB: 13 years
OL: 12.5 years
DL: 11.5 years

shortest:
RB: 8.6 years
DB: 10.5 years
TE: 10.5 years

I would put the best odds on Warmack.

if this is about in ten years, who will have had the best career, maybe Warmack is still the answer. Maybe Julio, Mosley, or Cooper. I don't know.

In 10 years? Won't w any of the RBs listed. Not saying they won't be in the league, but they won't be the best player from BAMA, at that time

You really never can tell. If you asked me in 2009 I would have said Rolando, hands down. See how that turned out. Now I'd have to guess C.J. or Mark Barron. Julio has the most talent, but I'm worried injuries are going to slow him down in a few years.
