Has anyone heard any news about when the 2012 national champion canisters will be available?

Also I've been looking for one of the 2009 Golden Flake canisters for about a year with no luck. Does anyone know where I might be able to get one? I saw one on E-Bay, but the seller wanted $150 for it. Needless to say I wasn't interested in this one.

I've been on the lookout for Golden flake cannisters as well as BCSNC coke bottles to no avail.

New, to me, this year: 11 oz Red Diamond Coffee cans

[I didn't start separate thread, as fans interested in Golden Flake canister will likely be interested in Red Diamond can. Can I get a "Thank for this post" or "Like this post?" How 'bout both? :biggrin2: ]

Red Diamond is the "Official Coffee and Tea of the Crimson Tide." Price in store, where I purchased six, is a little higher than usual 11 oz. can. This indicates to me, a licensing fee was passed along. You can buy online: http://www.reddiamond.com/

The commemorative can is also available in Alabama stores only, it seems. Tuesday, I was in Mobile area for funeral of former Vigor head coach Sam Mallette. I used the following link to find a store selling the special can: http://reddiamond.com/tide-coffee/alabama/

Note the store, where I made my purchase, was listed by Red Diamond as a Piggy Wiggly. Actually, it was a franchise store operated as Food for Less, located on Moffatt Rd at Shelton Beach Rd, Ext. So, go by address listed by Red Diamond, not store name. Oh! I did an unmasculine thing. I asked at customer service, as the special can wasn't in the coffee aisle. Good luck!

Not to hijack the thread, but I didn't know about his death until after the funeral. He was my Assistant Principal at Theodore High School (CJ's alma mater) when I attended from 79-83.
