Well if those reporters have any unused eligibility left that could be a recruiting violation.

    Was it Confederate $100 bills?

Aren't those now worth more than $100 now as collectibles?

This was kind of strange even for SOS.

Steve has made South Carolina at least a consistent winner.

The only problem for USCe is SOS has to contend with Ga. and Fl, just to get to the Georgia Dome...
Coach Saban has had Alabama ready for USCe most of the time.
Lastly: Stephen Garcia is gone... (FINALLY)

Some people in South Carolina are not happy with 11 win seasons. They think they deserve more.
Truth is USCe is close, but No Peanut...

    That's a cool story. I mean, he's rich, right?

This is why I like Spurrier. He's unpredictable.

Wow. He's feeling like he's not getting the love he should from the national media, so just steps out on the parapet and blows his horn as loudly as he can. The Benjamins were the insurance that made sure it got the exposure he wanted. Dude knows the media game , but he's getting scary radical.
    Lee

"A long way," he said after being asked how far the Crimson Tide had come since Coach Nick Saban arrived three years ago. "I guess you could say it's the distance from Shreveport to Pasadena."

Spurrier looking for more out of his press corp.

Brilliant move - now everyone will know that USCe is one of only 4 teams in America to have 11 wins the last 2 seasons. Not because he said it or reminded them of it, but because of the cash.

Re: Spurrier hands out envelopes with $100 in them to reporters

A few weeks ago Spurrier was saying players should receive spending money from the schools. He is trying to get the reporters to back his plan.
