    Hundred dollar bills are generally very nice things, but they sure can wind up in some strange situations. Especially when football is in the mix too.

    Maybe he just wanted to bury a few. Remember when Coach Bryant was asked to donate $10 to bury a reporter? He said here's a $20 bury 2.

    It's not out of grandfatherly doting...one thing SOS knows is offense - whether it be on the football field or field of marketing. Self promotion is his game and he knows exactly what he is doing. The "Alabama could be an NFL team" wasn't a flippant comment, it was a baton for the media to take up and run with.
