Is there a direct correlation to highly ranked signees and wins in the SEC? Well, you be the judge. Over the past four years (2009-12), Alabama and Florida have tied for the most ESPN 150 prospects signed with 41 apiece. During that span, the Crimson Tide have won an SEC-high 49 games and three national championships.
The Gators, meanwhile, have won 10 fewer games (39) than the Crimson Tide and haven’t won any SEC or national titles during that span. In fact, they’ve been shut out of the SEC championship game the last three years.

The folks at ESPN Recruiting have made their predictions
on where some of the country's top uncommitted/undecided prospects will land Wednesday. Several of those prospects are looking hard at SEC schools, and a few are scheduled to make announcements before the signing day madness commences Wednesday. ESPN 150 linebacker Reuben Foster, for example, is scheduled to announce his decision Monday at 10 p.m. ET on Fox Sports South. It sounds like Alabama's the leader, but Auburn and Georgia are the other two finalists. ESPN 150 running back Alex Collins of Plantation, Fla., is also scheduled to announce Monday at 10 p.m. ET on Fox Sports South. It's down to Arkansas and Miami, and the Hogs are thought to be the leader.
