Bell may have been put off by being put on hold. His indecision sort of caused that though.
I guess anything is possible but didn't he announce on ESPNU. Yes, I know Cyrus did last year but to me this is different.

That's true, but Bell doesn't seem to get the love that a 5* safety usually gets. Eric Berry & Jason Allen seemed to be much more in demand.
