Nah, Auburn and Knoxville, even then it might not be enough to be around that orange for 3-5 years.

I'm not convinced that this is the real Chad Bumphis. It is not a verified account.

    And a "clarification" by Bumphis:

    http://www.clarionledger.com/article...Don-t-go-money

“Mississippi State never offered me money. Other schools did, I will say that,” Bumphis said. “Mississippi State never did. Money had absolutely nothing to do with me going to State. I wanted to play in coach Mullen’s offense. That’s the whole reason I went there. I don’t regret anything about going to Mississippi State. The only thing I regret is that we didn’t run the score up on Ole Miss my junior year."
“We have 45 men suited up. They're all supposed to be ready to play.”

Have you ever been to Starkville? The city of Hoover has more to do than the Golden Triangle area, which consists of three counties.

He had his chance. If I remember it came down to Alabama and State and he stayed home.

He reminds me of Derrick Ramsey. Don't try to be goodie goodie after the fact. It makes you look like a hypocritical fool.

I think he was from Memphis. If so Starkvegas is not much closer than Tuscaloosa. Oxford is geographically speaking close to Memphis.

Bumphis played at Tupelo High School, which would still be closer to Oxford than Starkville or Tuscaloosa.

I couldn't stand to spend that long in Starkville if I had a stroke, lapsed into a coma and was laid up in a hospital there. I'm sure Mrs. Reb would do me the favor of putting me out of my misery and hauling me back to AL before she'd let the MS stink invade my body. I also think she'd have the good sense to not bury me there, even if the Gov of MS paid her.
