If I remember correctly, the '92 team visit came shortly after President Clinton started his first term.How many White House visits have there been in all?
This will be the third with President Obama.
The 1992 team was honored at the White House, but I don't remember whether President Bush was still in office or if it was after President Clinton transitioned.
I believe the 1978 and 79 teams visited President Carter, but I'm not sure.
Where can I sign?We should formally petition the White House to change the name of the Red Room to the "Crimson Room." It says they hold parties there. We will let Coach Cochran be the emcee.

And it's now been changed.So far trip is still on with Delta. That could change though.
Trust me when I say it would have to be a change from the White House or the FAA. No way Saban wants a change to the schedule.
I know. Sad thing is I found out online first instead of with Delta. :biggrin: They didn't call for another hour or so.And it's now been changed.
@Andrew_Gribble
Alabama's trip to White House has been canceled because of "expected inclement weather." Will be rescheduled for a future date.
No. The players were at the White House an hour before the explosion happened.Did the visit get cancelled due to the explosion in Boston?
