While Tom Cruise has the height (with lifts in his shoes), he doesn't have the acting ability to play Coach Saban. A younger Al Pacino would be ideal but I kind of like Greg Kinnear. For AJ how about Ryan Gosling?

This would be a difficult job for a casting director. 15 years ago it would be Pacino hands down, but considering that today is indeed "today"...

Coach Saban- He'd have to work on the dramatics but he could play young and older---Ben Stiller (They actually favor a bit)

Miss Terry-Courtney Cox

Scott Cochran- Scott Cochran

Mal Moore- Tom Hanks- Gray his hair and he could nail it...

A.J.- Jesse Eisenberg

Kirby Smart- Matt Damon

Lane Kiffin- Matthew Mcconauhey

if I keep going I think we can get this shot for about 750 million :)
Sip, you totally better keep your day job.

Nick Saban - Tommy Lee Jones has that laid back, yet firm aura
Mrs. Terry - Sela Ward, of course
Scott Cochran - Matthew McConaughey... he also plays percussion

I'd shoot for Tom Hanks for Coach Saban.

I also like Goodman for Phil Fulmer. It's too bad John Candy is no longer with us.

After watching the movie about Coach Bryant in the mid 80's, I can't get excited about another poorly made movie about one of our great coaches. I did enjoy the play "The Bear" when it played in Birmingham a few years ago.

Based on the similar look, I would say the guy from jurassic park... I can't Remember his name.

I'd also like to nominate Chuck Norris! Simply because it's Chuck Norris lol

With some hair coloring for the role, I think Richard Gere could pull it off. He and coach have similar eyes and facial features.
