Saw Dr. John put on an amazing show Sunday night in a park near Greenville, MS overlooking the MS River. I've been going to concerts 40 years now, & have seen some good ones. Dr. John is top 2-3 all time in my book. When he plays, it sounds like there are 5-6 people playing. Here's a taste: (note: he's 74 years old, & still is absolutely amazing!)

(and of more recent vintage; here, he looks like he did Sunday night. BTW, the lady on the right with the trombone singing harmony is the "music director" for the band.)

Used to listen to Los Lobos with my dad. Recently "rediscovered" them. This is probably one of my favorite songs by them, I love the beat.
