Re: Ronnie Clark: could he be a better person than he is a player?

What an incredible young man. This should be required reading for all recruits. How refreshing in this age of me, me, me.

Thanks for posting. What an outstanding kid. I'll be pulling for him no matter where he goes.

I will be too. Interesting he is down to us and the Barn. I thought I had read where LSWho was a player but it appears his dad will move back from LA to take care of his wife. I hope we get this kid since you can not have enough like him and this kid will be somebody someday.

A great story, and he may be a great player, but he's definitly got his priorities in order for such a young man.

After reading that, I know I'll be cheering for him no matter what school he decides to attend...

Re: Ronnie Clark: could he be a better person than he is a player?

Need to keep your eye on this one in the next few weeks. His plan has been to commit before the start of his senior season, so a decision is probably going to come down in the next few weeks.

Still a fairly close race between us and Auburn, but most have thought we had a lead for a while now so hopefully that sticks. He's coming back to T'town shortly, too, and hopefully that seals the deal.

Right on the money BET, Ronnie Clark set to decide between Alabama and Auburn in August.

I just get the feeling he's going to choose AU. He seems to be such a 'tweener, that he doesn't really seem to fit at safety and isn't large enough for LB right now. I hope I'm wrong, because I think he's going to be a great player.

He's just a little bit bigger than Mark Barron was at this point and could make the same kind of impact on UA's defense that MB did. I'd like to think UA is in his future but this one is very close.

Clark has intended to decide just before his senior season for quite some time now, so this one comes as no real surprise. We'll see how it goes from here. Auburn has really gone after this young man very, very hard in recent weeks, but most UA people are still bullish.

auburn believes that Bama may not have room for RC therefore they are putting the full-court press on him. chances are they get him. if they do get his commitment its another good in-state kid Bama has to pass up and auburn benefits tremendously from it. let's see what happens.

I would be surprised we would pass on Ronnie. He has said he is staying in-state so if we do pass on him the Barn will get him. I hope this is not the case since I think Ronnie will be a very good college player.

I sure hope we make room for Ronnie Clark. He seems to be a guy who will be a success on the field and off and you can never have too many high character guys in the locker room

Can RTO or someone close to the program on here chime in? Is he coming to Title Town or going to lee county?
