Not a shock here. Chris Gragg is a great athlete in his own right, and I imagine the genes run in the family.
Intriguing prospect, no doubt, but it's a long way to go before we can really talk about getting him away from Arkansas.

I'm not sure who you are referring to that was from Pine Bluff, but we did get few good ones from Fordyce once-upon-a-time.
There may have been others that hailed from Pine Bluff, but the one that comes to mind for me was arguably one of the best receivers of all time.

On the subject of Bama players from Arkansas, Coach Hank Crisp must have been a terrific judge of talent and a top-notch recruiter when you look at the players from Arkansas that he brought to Tuscaloosa. Just of the top of head I can think of Paul Bryant, Don Hutson, Jim and Joe Dildy, and Pig Davis from the Frank Thomas teams back in the '30's. As an aside, not only was Davis a fine player, the Davis boys that kicked for the Bryant teams (Tim, Steve, and Bill) were Pig's sons I believe.
