How would the two teams have matched up today? Part of me thinks we would have spent some time in the wood shed but looking back on the defensive effort from Bama today, I doubt Johnny Ballpoint would have been so cocky.

OL would not have looked as bad and the defense would not have looked as good.

OK. This is a baiting thread. Our defensive effort was really good today, even compared to TAMU against Rice. I see this as a moderator as a thread that could lead to "sparring", undue criticism of players and coaches, and people spending time in time-out.

Certainly not intended to be a baiting thread.

aTm doesn't really have a d-line to speak of - Rice was killing them on the ground and their QB had all day to throw (but he was horrible). I think that Alabama would have trounced aTm, especially with 2 TDs in the return game.

Even with our bad day we would have TROUNCED the aTm that played today.

I'm ready to see Johnny Hangover be this cocky next week.

Rice gashed the interior of the Aggies defensive line, a good sign for us. I don't think it would've been as negative as some think.

Is anyone familiar enough with their team to know which defenders were suspended and how much difference they would have made, had they played...

I think ya'll are overlooking the fact that our O line did NOT play well. The frustration level showed on AJ's face and all the running backs. Derrick Henry took it personal and apologized to the Bama Nation. Come on guys lets be realistic, lots of work on the O line or we are in for a long season.

The biggest thing that gets me is we won by 25. I have Never seen special teams at Alabama play better, do you all remberance David Palmer? Jones really played his heart out all night.
i thought Vinny was a little off last year but boy is he back in a big way. The whole defense played Great even with the number of times they were right back on the field.

Believe it or not we needed a game like this early. There is a lot of good coaching moments we get from this game. I know the O Line is a point a lot of folks like to talk about & AJ was frustrated on the field but it's not lack for talent. I tink by the time we play API we will be saying how good the O Line is playing.

Now finally or the question, TPI would have been a tough game if we played it last night, but I think we still win, but not by 25 points.

Give CNS & staff 2 weeks to prepare???

Man I almost fell sorry for Deliverence Boy & TPI.

I have lost all respect for Sumlin, as long as this punk leads the team, Sumlin can't control him.
