Any Aggie fans going to defend this? Anything for an advantage I suppose. Everything is bigger in Texas.

I can imagine Sumlin's thinking...

"What's the best way to beat Bama? I know! Make them mad!"

Good plan coach. Good plan.

I told everyone how bad the aggies were before they joined. They are like a mix of the bad barn fans and the bad Miss st fans.

Gameday was talking about how the AC did not not work when they played Rice and that it still may not be in the best working shape. Expansion or not it is a health risk which comes first.

If it's legitimate I will apologize.
How legit could it be? No matter the state of their project, if you have guests then you need to make sure that they are safe. In this case it is perfectly acceptable that the space be somewhat limited, but it is in no way acceptable that the space not be adequately cooled. There are young men who will need to bring down their body temperatures at half time. This is a health issue.

nothing wrong with a little gamesmanship as long as they don't whine when we go for 2 up 41-14

Re: Aggies apparently not very gracious hosts

It was reported on GameDay that the AC's did not work for the previous games this year at Kyle Field. It was also reported that CNS got wind of that and that he brought AC's with the team. :)
I am glad that Alabama is prepared, but aTm should be fined by the SEC for this, IMO.

This. If it's not some kind of extreme gamesmanship then the University has seriously dropped the ball in ensuring the players are cared for,

Re: Aggies apparently not very gracious hosts

I heard it's because of the expansion they are doing. Alabama brought in extra ACs.
Expansion or whatever, there is no excuse for this. That is the sign of a classless program.

I just heard about it on Game Day! This is what Rice had to confront. Apparently, Coach Saban heard about on Wednesday from Rice people. I guess the Aggies will do anything to try to win! I'm sure they were not treated like this last year.

Let's just set up on tent as a locker room on the Quad for them for next year with heaters blowing into the tent. We can just say we thought they were A/C's.

If I were Coach Saban, I'd refuse to even go in that locker room. Give us their locker room or provide a luxury location for our team to meet.

This is LOW CLASS red neck stuff that you just can't make up. That's East Texas Red Neck stuff.

I wonder if this came from the Rice Athletic Dept. where there is a former Bama grad?

All you have to do to turn an A/C unit into a heater is turn it around... :D

Re: Aggies apparently not very gracious hosts

I won't go so far as to turn an ESPN report into fact, but they reported that Alabama only knew about this because Rice told them. They were not notified by aTm. How can that be? People should lose their jobs over something like that.

This really makes me angry.
It's not like Iowa, where they had a pink locker room. That was funny. This is dangerous.

Keep it classy, A&M

How long does it take to fix air conditioners when you know they don't work for the first game and here we are at week 3?

Or bring in portable AC units to cover on game day?

Re: Aggies apparently not very gracious hosts

even if it is because of expansion, you still have to make a space that will be occupied "habitable" it is the law. especially if the temperature is above 90 degrees with high humidity. it then can become a danger to health.
