Neither side of this makes much sense to me. It doesn't make sense that Fluker would take the benefits that they are saying, especially considering it was the equivalent of $2,000. It seems like Fluker would be a lot smarter than this.
By the same token, I don't see why Davis would risk going to jail and getting sued by the Fluker family just to get back at Bama. I especially don't understand him giving up this information so readily if he was indeed being the middle man. It makes no sense because no college will let him near their campus now that he is known to have connections with an agent. He is killing his reputation either way.
The other thing I can't figure out. The original article had emails from Kyle Pennington's mother. How is she still affiliated with the university, and how does she fit into the equation? Maybe someone who is a little closer to the team can tell me where she is coming from.
Is this basically a repeat of the Gene Jelks situation?
