I couldn't hear the PA or my Eli Gold radio.I'll tell you how loud it was...there were many times that I could not hear the PA comments (and that's is real loud) because of the crowd noise!

The way it was on TV, I couldn't of any other time it was that loud, at least on tv. I've heard though it was a great crowd.Iron Bowl 2008 maybe the only other one.Tennessee 2007 also comes to mind. They all were awesome.
Amen.Florida in 2005 is still the standard to me but this is top 3.
I heard that while it was going on commercial. I bet that pumped the crowd up big time.Amen.
The atmosphere was great Sat. We stood up the whole game (didn't do that for Ole Miss). "We will Rock You" before the fourth down was awesome!
I was at UF in 2005 and was also at the Ole Miss game. Both were very loud but last night was on a whole neither level. It was special. I've never seen BDS like that. Not only was it loud but the crowd (not just the student section) was into this game from the start. It was like we took our role seriously as part of "the process". The cheering was nonstop, even during time outs. We sang with every song that came over the PA system. People that rarely stand up were on their feet even during the commercials. The way CBS employs commercials usually takes the crowd out of the game but not Saturday night. I lost my voice, at times there was ringing in my ears, and the decibel meter was maxed out most of the night. At the beginning of the 4th quarter when Coach Cochran comes over the PA system telling us to be loud, you couldn't even hear him. Now, that's loud!I was at the Ole Miss game a few weeks ago and I thought that was the loudest game I had been to at BDS in years. Just based on what I saw on tv, the LSU game looked to even be louder and rowdier.
How a recruit sitting there saturday night inside the stadium and NOT thinking, "Wow...I want to play in THIS atmosphere!" is beyond me....
????When was the last time y'all recall the refs taking a time out because the crowd got too loud, or went as far as calling the 2nd time out and assessing the penalty for it? I just posed that question in the office and one guy seemed to not know about it and others just chuckled.
