Well after an amazing game against LSU last weekend, we move on to Miss. State. They can put up some points, but I don't think many with our defense.

Also, please pray for Miss. State QB (Dak Prescott). He lost his mother to colon cancer last week. I cannot imagine what he is going through.
I said 38-10 in the way too early thread. I'm going to stick to that prediction, though I wouldn't be too surprised to see our score go a tad higher to 41, 45 or so.

MSU's Dak Prescott has equal numbers of passing TDs, INTs, and sacks (7 each) He is a much better running quarterback with 10 TDs (No other player has more than 2), and could easily get dinged up in this game.
Mississippi State is not a good team.
Their lone conference win was in a squeaker against Kentucky, whom Bama absolutely rolled.
The only thing going for the Bulldogs is the game is at their place.

I had a lot of respect for their team last week. They played right up until the end against A&M.
I think we are on fire offensively and we will not have a letdown. Maybe a close first quarter...but we pull away and win big.

I was thinking that early today then I realized that we did that last year - I suspect CNS and Co will work all week to ensure that's not the case.
MSU is a very good team. That is, their offense is very good, provided they play against a team with a porous defense. They also have a very stout defense when they play against teams with a weak offense. Bama is not that team.
Our starters' day will be done by the end of the 3rd quarter and our 2nd and 3rd teams will get plenty of practice. Too bad there won't be many MSU fans left in the stands to watch.
