I know it's been discussed but I need a break from the Saban ---> Tejas topic. Plus the qb position is the most unkown question mark we have going into next season.
Blake Sims- Does the offense change (any) with Sims behind center? From my amateur eye his passing skills and ability to function in the pocket need a lot of work. I think with Sims we become a run heavy offense mixed with some zone read. This is pure speculation and simply going by the offense we run when Sims enters the game. I can't imagine the staff making him run a certain offense when playing as a backup but expecting him to run another if he's a starter. But I've been wrong before.
A. Morris- Look decent in the A-Day game but personally I don't know enough about his progress within the system to even begin to comment on him.
Del Rio- I've read and heard a lot of good things about Del Rio and it seems he fits into the mold of "student of the game". It seems if he continues to develop he has a legit shot at playing next season.
Parker McLeod- I have absolutely no clue about this kid and can't even begin to comment.
Cooper Bateman- Highly touted coming out of HS but tid bits of what I've read (on our board and others) is that he's struggling to pick up the system right now. Depending on his development between now and August he may need another year of development before having a legit shot at the position.
