Because the alternative is Army-Navy, which is worse football than the FCS playoffsTell me again why this is bad? Yawn
The ND State vs. Coastal Carolina game was on ESPN or ESPN2 today. Can only find them on ESPN3. If you wanna watch football today, your only option is the always-dreadful Army/Navy game. Seems like, instead of low-ratings for regular season basketball, ESPN would air the FCS Playoffs.

Their indoor stadium is very cool. Cool program; perennial power. Like Mount Union in DIIII watched both the game last night and today. That's the second or third time I've watched NDSU. They remind me a lot of Bama. Their coach is going to Wyoming at the end of the season (seems like NDSU would be a better job than that). They are a very good football team. They would beat the "other" D1 schools in our state handily (i.e., Troy, USA, UAB).

Thank you for your service! My brother is a retired Marine Sgt. Army-Navy is the quintessential college football game. These young don't play for the future of big $ in the NFL but for the love of the game and their country. Going to see this game in person would be on my bucket list! Thanks to these young men!Well even though some may not like it, there are VETS that enjoy the ARMY/NAVY game as much as any football game, no matter who is playing! As long as I have a breath I will always defend and be thankful for any Network that chooses to air the game! JMO! SEMPER FI!
Nobody said it shouldn't be shown; just wish someone had shown some other games, tooWell even though some may not like it, there are VETS that enjoy the ARMY/NAVY game as much as any football game, no matter who is playing! I've seen 7 of them, froze my rear off a couple of time but oh well! if you get the chance to go you'll never regret it!Thank you for your service! My brother is a retired Marine Sgt. Here, here! I'm a vet and appreciate the ARMY/NAVY. It think the idea of the thread is more of a "why not televise more football" than downing anything. We are all football fans after all and I too would like to see the entire FCS playoffs televised. I think it is kind of exciting given the eminent DI playoff system that will come.Well even though some may not like it, there are VETS that enjoy the ARMY/NAVY game as much as any football game, no matter who is playing!
