I know this is something they have to do as part of the pre-game build up, but they did seem to enjoy the visit and I know the kids loved seeing the players.

I know someone who used to live in Michigan and has a son with a lot of health problems. He said he kids didn't mind being in the hospital during the holidays because they always had visits from the Tigers, Lions, etc.

Dang allergies are making my eyes water, and I must be getting strep or something. That's all I can think of that would cause that huge lump in my throat.

Sports personalities the world over take part in these hospital visits and rightly so.

The difference for me here and what makes it stand out, is the amateur status of the players, somehow it just makes it more genuine. A huge well done to all the Bama players who took the time to visit the kids and best wishes to each and every one of the youngsters.
