Trick me once, shame on you, trick me twice, shame on me.

I thought Thomas Wolfe said, "you can never go home again?"

fRan is coaching at one of his previous stops now.

Just goes to show that most schools care more about winning games than character.

Kragthorpe's not exactly a distant memory for them--they are desperate not to lose ground in the ACC.

Let's say you do hire Petrino; how high do you go with the buyout?

I seriously cannot believe they'd consider hiring him again. If they do, they deserve whatever they get.

Maybe offer him then at the last minute yank the rug out from under him?

Y'all being too hard on ole Bobby. Everybody deserves a second....err...third chance. Y'all just judging.
Must've got Houseboat's, er Housel's, endorsement for the job too...

Forget for a moment about the way he left them. I think they are foolish to hire him just from a football philosophy/system standpoint. Charlie Strong finally had L'ville playing some serious defense. That is about to end and quick.

But look how well each of his teams performed after he left / was fired!

Didn't they learn anything the 1st time?
OR
Is it desperation to be relevant?

The enticement to get BP will probably be a new 'Hog' and a ageing 'Biker Babe'...

And just think....next December off of a 7-5 season, this time the PTB at the Barn lknow to take a van rather than a jet to see if he'll take the job.

It was just announced on ESPN.

The hire is now official.

Kirk Herbstreit, when asked about it, said he thinks it is a very smart move by Louisville.

Going to be an interesting season next year.
