The numbers are almost identical to 2010, although I do think this defense was better when everybody was healthy. I think the loss of Sunseri, Belue's lingering turf toe, and the revolving door at the other corner spot hurt us down the stretch as much as anything.
Turnover margin really dropped off this year. Still on the plus side, but just barely. Also, it looks like out cut-off for a national title is no more than 12 point per game allowed on defense. All the championship years are below that, all the others above.
